Interlocking (IXL) Sub-Project Manager

As interlocking (IXL) project manager you will be leading the IXL sub projects for our metro customers. Your responsibilities are to plan, control and execute the project in time and budget with the necessary quality. The IXL sub-project manager works within an engineering team in Sydney and reports to the corresponding engineering manager.

Your field of responsibility also includes for the sub system:

analysis and evaluation of IXL related contractual requirements creation of IXL sub-system design, sub-system requirements project reporting and controlling ensure quality, completeness and consistency of the relevant work results HW and SW engineering IXL configuration, preparation of BoM, support procurement and management of subcontractors clarification and management of technical interfaces related to IXL lead IXL installation, integration, testing and commissioning activities provision of safety documentation for the sub project, RAMS support interface with R&D department risk management related to the sub-project

You are expected to be an engineering functional expert in IXL to provide measurable contributions in a team environment within the Engineering Team You are expert in Railway Systems, Railway Operations and Signalling with proven experience in a variety of Signalling Projects Strong understanding of project delivery requirements Tertiary education in a relevant engineering discipline such as railway engineering, system engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or telecommunications engineering.
