What is the opportunity?
The role of Intermediary Business Insights Analyst is to support the Distribution channel, collaborating with cross functional teams to provide advanced analytics and insight. Delivering meaningful insight that helps drive business growth and create effective data visualisations and stories that drive business decisions.
The Intermediary BI Analyst will work in partnership with the Intermediaries Channel to deliver insights consisting of (but not limited to) business flows and Assets Under Management (AUM), trend analysis and growth opportunities.
What will you do?
Collate, clean, and consolidate large data sets (in partnership with the Data Office) to produce meaningful insights and support stakeholders in making data-driven decisions by providing actionable recommendations.
Use statistical methods and analytical tools to interpret data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Develop and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations (in partnership with the Data Office) using BI tools to communicate findings to stakeholders. Maintain and innovate existing reports and dashboards.
Monitor and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the business and identify areas for improvement. Review & analyse high volumes of data quickly and efficiently, perform anomaly detections in large data sets, investigating and identifying the cause and recommending corrective actions.
Regular engagement/stakeholder management across the wider BD network and business partners / teams, such as IT, Change, Finance, Marketing, Business Management, Operations, ensuring engagement with SME’s from across the business at both junior and senior levels, with the ability to distil key messages in to and from, these relationships.
Become a key SME and go-to for the Intermediaries Channel, building strong relationships with the Head of the Intermediaries Channel, the Head of Intermediary Planning & Execution, Business Development Managers, and their Sales Support.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proven track record of analysing data to derive meaningful insights and present them in a clear and concise manner.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a passion for data, data skills and data tools.
Strong skills in SQL, Excel, VBA, or any other data analysis tools with exposure of working with large datasets from various sources.
Ability to clearly communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience in a similar role, which collects and understands requirements for new Power BI reports and delivers on those requirements.
Nice-to-have
Higher level qualification such as A Levels/Degree or equivalent.
