My client, well-known name within the property management industry, is looking to expand their accounting team and looking for several accountants to join their commercial management team! ABOUT THE POSITION
Reporting to the Controller, the property accountant will be responsible for:Prepare month end financial statements, management reports, including variance analysis and account reconciliations.Perform management fee billings, rent roll billings, and tenant chargebacksPrepare cashflow and monthly distributions.Prepare annual CAM and Tax recovery reconciliations and billings.Prepare year-end working papers, budgets, expense reports and track capital expendituresReview and enter new leasesReview AP/AR invoices and update property recovery matrixREQUIREMENTS3+ years of property accounting experience.Experience working with commercial properties is an asset.Experience working with Yardi or Sage 300 is an asset  COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSSalary: $60,000 to $70,000 + Discretionary BonusHybrid Working – 2 days working from home per week3 weeks’ vacationExtended health and dentalRRSP matching
