Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant in the non-profit sector based in Newark, New Jersey. This role involves a range of accounting functions, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records and resolving accounting inquiries. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and completeness • Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations • Perform Accrual Accounting tasks as required • Utilize Accounting Software Systems efficiently for financial management • Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll and human capital management tasks • Leverage CaseWare for financial reporting and auditing purposes • Use Ceridian for payroll and HR services • Manage expenses and reporting through Concur • Conduct regular audits to ensure financial compliance • Assist in end-of-month responsibilities and general ledger upkeep.
