Intermediate IT Business Analyst
**38465BR** **Requisition ID:** 38465BR **Business Unit:** COR **Job Description:** Designs, develops and implements basic to moderately complex IT architecture projects. Executes project tasks against an established project schedule, and reviews ongoing project status with IT management identifying unexpected key events. Maintains client relationships. Under general supervision, performs basic to moderately complex business analysis, process mapping, and/or develops work products/artifacts under moderate supervision. Performs requirements gathering, system design, prototyping, system integration testing, system installation and deployment of business system(s). Specializes in a large specific program/system or provide general support for a wide variety of programs/systems, as required. Consults with other IT groups, provides business system knowledge and expertise as required. Provides user and application support for escalated IT issues. Performs other duties as required. **Job Title:** Intermediate IT Business Analyst **Group:** COR **Employment Type:** Regular **Minimum Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree. 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. **Preferred Qualifications:** • Candidate with good understanding of ETL processes, Data warehousing and their significance in data integration. • Experience and understanding and extracting and analysing data from various sources such as databases and flat files, applying business logic and data validation techniques to ensure data accuracy and integrity. • Experience in analysing database schemas using tools like Oracle Toad and scripting knowledge. • Functional knowledge of Interpreting data and their relevance with source systems (like Oracle R12, SFDC) • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter or Talend Tool including mapping design, workflow development, session configuration, and transformations for data cleansing, aggregation, and loading. • Experience in planning, testing for upgrades, preparation of test plans, test scripts, and developing test cases. • Provides user and application support of escalated IT issues as defined by the group’s ITIL processes.
