TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:
  Perform advanced hydraulic calculations for slurry and solution systems. Participate in procurement processes, including sourcing materials, obtaining permits, and managing subcontractors. Provide independent solutions to moderately complex engineering challenges, aligning with project objectives. Create detailed equipment specifications and conduct thorough technical evaluations. Review and validate vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project standards, addressing any discrepancies. Develop and implement cost-effective strategies for mechanical engineering projects. Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with 5-10 years of relevant experience. Professional Engineer (PE) certification. Background in consulting engineering for industrial processing facilities, including equipment such as mills, cyclones, flotation cells, thickeners, pumps, lime systems, filters, and refineries. Technical expertise required to fulfill job responsibilities. Knowledge of local, provincial, and federal regulations and guidelines. Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
