Our collaborative culture will inspire you to learn from the experience of those around you while sharing your experience. **Requirements** We are seeking student candidates with strong communication skills, the ability to think strategically, and demonstrate leadership potential. Interns will support critical finance-team initiatives while also sharing the responsibilities to support the day-to-day accounting operations within the Controller’s organization, including but not limited to: record keeping, account analysis and reconciliation, error handling, technical research, benchmarking analyses, and assistance with financial statement preparation, among other areas. Interns will also have opportunities to interact and collaborate with team members from other functional areas of the business. **Your Background** Candidates should be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in accounting with at least one year of college level work completed **Job Responsibilities** Your internship experience with the Controller’s organization may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities: + Assist in the achievement of one or more of the Finance organization’s key initiatives + Assist with the month-end / quarter-end accounting close activities through the performance of account analysis and reconciliation, ensuring all accounting balances are accurately stated and appropriately supported + Perform technical research on complex and / or judgment technical accounting topics and assist in the preparation of accounting position papers to justify positions taken + Support the period-end financial reporting processes through the compilation and / or review of disclosure support + Assist with governance and oversight activities relating to the Company’s outsourced business service provider function + Support the Company’s continuous improvement initiatives by participating in the Finance team’s Innovation Review Board + Support finance system upgrades / enhancements by performing user acceptance testing + Assist in the development and / or update of policies, standard operating procedures, training materials or job aids **Education** + Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and / or Finance.
