We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our Business Development (BD) and Strategy Team as a 2025 summer intern in our Palo Alto offices. BD is responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities with commercial and government customers.  Interns at Maxar Space Systems have the opportunity to gain valuable skills and mentorship by working along-side industry-leading experts. 

As an intern on the BD and Strategy team your responsibilities will include:

Conduct research and analysis on customer needs, customer budgets/financial health, target markets, technology trends, competitive performance, business cases, etc.Work within the Business Development team to support customer meetingsSupport development of pursuit win strategiesUpdate and maintain strategy metrics and dashboards

Minimum requirements: 

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with completion of 2 years or more

These skills would be amazing: 

Strong verbal and written communication and organization skills Ability to work in a collaborative teamMicrosoft office suite, including Microsoft Excel

The base pay for this position within CA is: $23.00 hourly

The salary range listed is based on two years of completed studies.  This range will vary based on the number of years of experience and work location.
