Intern, Category Management - AP1000 - 4 Internships

We have four Intern positions available in our Global Supply Chain Solutions (GSCS), Category Management teams, one position will support our GSCS Energy Systems Category Management team.  These positions will be located in our Cranberry, PA headquarters facility.

 

As an AP1000 Category Management Intern you will …….. 

Work with GSCS Managers and Professionals Commercial team members, Engineers and fellow interns on AP1000/300/eVinci projects, to assist with developing global sourcing strategies for new power plant opportunities around the world. Assist with obtaining cost, schedule and technical information from major equipment suppliers.  Help organize commercial information to support project tasks and deadlines. Assist with obtaining cost, schedule and technical information from equipment suppliers Help organize commercial information to support project tasks and deadlines Engage with Delivery Stream Engineers/Interns to assist with developing global sourcing strategies for new power plant opportunities around the world Work with team members to create reporting dashboards Learn basic knowledge of Westinghouse processes and tools specific to AP1000 projects

 

Who You Are:

3.0 Minimum GPA Completion of Sophomore year of college, studying Business or Supply Chain Management  Must be able to work a minimum of 8 weeks; 10 plus weeks preferred Use of Microsoft suite of software Strong interest in technology and engineering projects Familiarity with data analysis and software
