The Intern will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members to gain an understanding of how the Corporate Security team operates, interacts, and engages with other departments within the Company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the team with daily intelligence operations and initiatives.
Work with the team to gain an understanding of the Corporate Security Physical Threat Intelligence process by researching, collecting, and analyzing potentially impactful open-source intelligence (OSINT).
Assist with monitoring crime trends across NYC including escalating instances of LIVE reports.
Assist with monitoring of protest activity across NYC.
Coordination with other relevant departments of FOX as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Currently pursuing a degree or career in Criminal Justice, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Law, or Forensics
Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program.
Detail orientated with the ability to multi-task effectively
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, team player, willingness to learn
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
Confidence in basic web search functions and mapping tools (Google, Google Maps/Earth)
Basic knowledge and familiarity with common social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, “X”, BlueSky (a PLUS), Reddit, TikTok)
Appreciation of domestic and global news events; and a desire to learn how these could potentially affect FOX’s day-to-day operations from a Corporate Security standpoint
PROGRAM SCHEDULE/TIMELINE:
Summer Term: June – July
8 weeks, up to 35 hours per week (4-5 days), On-site

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $20.00 per hour.
