The North America team is currently looking for a **Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Intern** to join our **EHS team** based in **Assumption, IL** . _Other locations available for this position are based out of_ **Paris, IL, Taylorville, IL, and Bremen, AL.** This is a paid, full-time internship during the summer of 2025 at our Grain & Protein headquarters in Assumption, IL. Housing is provided for students who reside more than fifty miles from the internship. Students are required to work forty hours per week on-site at the office of their respective internship location from May through August 2025. This internship would be primarily in a manufacturing environment but will also include some office environment. **Your Impact** Assist with the completion of various projects/tasks including, but not limited to the following: + Develop and implement various written programs + Assist in ergonomic assessments and improvements + Conduct regulatory safety and environmental audits + Review and develop specific training programs + Conduct risk assessments, job hazard analyses and other evaluations **Your Experience and Qualifications** + Exceptional oral and written communication skills + Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point + Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment + Enrollment in a degree program on environmental, health and safety or related field + Must be registered as a full-time student + Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis **Your Benefits** + Complimentary housing will be provided if you reside more than 50 miles from Assumption, IL, Paris, IL, Taylorville, IL, and/or Bremen, AL. **Your Workplace** You will be working an onsite role based in one of our four manufacturing locations (Assumption, IL, Paris, IL, Taylorville, IL, or Bremen, AL).
