Intern, Employee Development Specialist, Summer 2025

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Learning and Development team and perform instructional design tasks, including training guides, video production, and eLearning creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and be able to work independently and collaboratively to ensure our systems are functioning efficiently.
Role/Responsibilities:
Create engaging and compelling course content using a variety of delivery methods and modalities such as webinars, eLearning, instructor-led training (classroom), etc. Ensure instructional content aligns with the company’s branding standards, learning theories, and organizational objectives Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather training needs to translate that into a quality training experience for adult learning Deliver classroom and hands-on training experiences Create and execute learning strategies and programs based on the needs of the businessPreferred Qualifications:
Field(s) of study: Bachelor of Science, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree program at an accredited university. Proof of enrollment in current or into next program (MS, PhD) Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques Skilled in organizing and establishing priorities Detail-orientated Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people, including cross-functional teams in multiple locations Proficiency in MS Office, Articulate 360, Camtasia, Canva, and Captivate preferredProgram Information:
Timing: May- August, or June-September pending class schedules. Duration of Internship: Our internship program is 12 weeks; the end date is flexible based on individual needs. Work Location & Environment: This position will be in Casa Grande, AZ, and is fully in-person. You must be prepared to start onsite for your first day of employment. The working environment will be a mix of lab & office work. Compensation: Student compensation is based on location and current degree level, non-negotiable ranging from $26 to $38. Relocation: May be provided on a case to case basis. Housing/Transportation: You must provide your own living arrangements and transportation in the local area. Background Check: All offers of employment are contingent on clearing a background check. Drug Screening: All offers of employment are contingent on passing a drug screen. Medical benefits: Dental, vision, and medical on day 1 for all interns working full-time. Visa Sponsorship: Lucid may but is not obligated to sponsor foreign national employees requiring company sponsorship for U.S employment authorization.
