We are looking for individuals who are passionate about learning new skills and who possess a high drive to success and excellence. The team is open to a flexible work schedule to accommodate the right candidate’s availability.       Skills prerequisites:Current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate Geology degreeHas already completed coursework in sedimentology and stratigraphyWhat you can expect to gain in this role:Project ManagementSort out cores and send to company lab Relog to modern standardsSummarize testing resultsOrganize and scan exploration dataAttempt to identify rock units and thickness in core logsObtain location and elevation of drill holes and input data into spreadsheetIntroduction to aggregate mining operationsTours of limestone quarries/mines and sand & gravel operationsGain knowledge of the mining industry related to aggregate miningQuality Control processGradation samplingCustomer site visitGradation data and report analysis Safety programMine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) New Miner trainingExposure to a World Class safety program
