Intern, Global Engineering

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.

Dates: June 2 to August 8, 2025

Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week

Pay: 18 an hour

YOUR DAY TO DAY:

Assignment: Become an active project management resource in the US Networks Playout projects and other projects as approved.

Assist in the creation of project/program management KPIs, metrics, benefits & risk analysis, workflows, process maps, policies and procedures.

Research related industry and global program management best practices

Gather data & analysis tools and assist in the development of reports utilizing these data points.

Research tools to automate project management tasks to better utilize resources

Work with other project managers to determine project resource requirements.

Interactions: Engineering Management. Engineering Leadership. Engineering Project Managers. Stakeholders of active projects.

There will be a group innovation project assigned to all interns at the beginning of the program where you will be working cross functionally and present the ideas at the end of the program to an executive committee.

YOU HAVE:

Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent technology related major preferred.

Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.

Expected graduation of summer 2025 or winter 2025.

Self-motivated, Self-disciplined.

Strong communication and organization skills.

Interested in project management, process improvement, quality, and Six Sigma.

Can manage multiple tasks.

Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred

Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.

Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
