The Role:Business Operations enables our business to scale faster and operate more efficiently. We are seeking a GRC Implementation Intern to support our Independent Risk Management function in the implementation of a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Tool. The GRC tool will enable enhanced oversight and management over key risk initiatives, controls, risk reporting, regulatory requirements and more. This strategic role will partner with the GRC Project Sponsor, Sr. Program Manager and other project team members to assist in driving the implementation of the GRC application. This is your opportunity to showcase a breadth of strengths: strategy, analysis, financial modeling, problem-solving, supplier management, performance management, program leadership, cross-functional project management, and more.
**The candidate must be available for the entire internship period: Tuesday, May 27, 2025 - August 1, 2025**
What You’ll Do: Assist in managing the overall development and implementation of GRC capabilities Support risk and technical functions to drive alignment on requirements and system functionalities Aid in maintaining and developing project materials including, but not limited to project plans, budget, status reporting, dependency tracking, management updates, etc. Participate in the development and execution of test plans, test scripts and defect resolutions Assist with organizational change management activities such as the development of training materials, communication and ‘Go Live’ strategies with a potential opportunity to assist in the facilitation of training Support Post-Implementation activities such as conducting ‘Lesson’s Learned’ session Leverage your problem solving and leadership skills to resolve conflicts and devise creative solutions Perform additional administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, overseeing slack channel communication, coordinating with suppliers and general organizational activities What You’ll Need: Enrolled in an accredited US-based university (working towards a Bachelor’s degree ONLY) with an expected graduation date of Spring 2026 Must be returning to school for at least one quarter or semester after the internship Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience (excluding internships and research assistant roles) Must be willing to relocate to San Francisco Bay Area and be available to work in the San Francisco HQ office Must be attending a US-based university for positions in the US Experience with Google products (i.e. Google docs, slides, etc) Program Management knowledge Internship Perks: Access to senior leadership, including exclusive Q&A sessions with executives across all functions of SoFi Exclusive opportunities to contribute to a tech hackathon, to deliver a case study to the CEO, etc. Development sessions for career, financial, and professional growth Opportunities to participate in company wide events like All-Hands and SoFi circles programming Networking socials to connect with fellow interns SoFi swag giveaways**Please note the following benefits only apply to full-time employees**
