ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.
Dates: June 2 to August 8, 2025
Hours: Approximately 40 hours a week
Pay: $25 an hour

YOUR DAY TO DAY:
The law clerk will provide valuable support to attorneys specializing in diverse areas such as Corporate Law, Litigation, Labor & Employment, Privacy & Cybersecurity, Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, Entertainment, and Content Distribution, among others. Their responsibilities will encompass:
Analyzing and researching law sources, preparing legal documents, such as briefs, memoranda, contracts, and other legal documents
Reviewing consulting services contracts, teaming agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and subcontracts
Meet with the clients and chiefs to discuss potential problems or further details needed for contract negotiations and/or projects
Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and business partners to discuss implementation requirements
Prepare executive level presentations for the General Counsel
Review and analyze RFPs and contracts
Work closely with the Deputy General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel on special projects
Draft contractual memoranda and letters
Translate business requirements into system requirements for key technology platforms used within the LPI department and perform other duties as needed
YOU HAVE:
Actively pursuing a law degree at an accredited law school.
Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, eDocs, SharePoint, Outlook, Workshare Compare, Westlaw, Lexis. Legal research proficiency.
Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred
Participation in prior internships, extracurricular activities, community organizations and/or professional associations, preferred.
Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
