Intern, Manufacturing Operations & Continuous Improvement

Internship opportunity for Summer 2025 term.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student intern to join our Manufacturing Operations team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in manufacturing processes, lean principles, and operational excellence. The intern will work closely with our experienced professionals to support various projects aimed at improving efficiency, productivity, and quality within our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in the analysis of current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement. Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address operational issues. Collect and analyze data to track performance metrics and identify trends. Assist in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous internship or work experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with data analysis tools and software.
