Organizational Summary:\n
This intern reports to the Project Manager, Media and Design.\n
Summary of Responsibilities:\n
Supports the Public Affairs Department in the planning and production of a series of short videos highlighting the authority's mission \n
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:\n\nConceptualize, produce and assist with the creation of promo videos and develop web galleries for social media (Instagram and Twitter).\nEdit and optimize video and image files for use on digital platforms, including pulling screengrabs, identifying and cutting clips, and encoding video.\nAssist in developing and implementing social media campaigns in support of MWRA's programming, events and initiatives.\nManage digital archive and maintain an organized file-management system of images and video clips.\nAssists with other projects as needed.\n\n
REQUIREMENTS:\n\nCurrently enrolled in college or recently graduated from high school.\nProficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere.\nProficient in Microsoft Office.\nAptitude for storytelling through editing.\nExperience working with social media platforms.\nExcellent interpersonal, written, verbal and collaboration skills.\nAbility to follow directions and receive and implement feedback.\nHighly organized, detail-oriented, attentive to details and technologically savvy.\nAbility to manage time, prioritize, juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and keep track of delivery and publication dates.\n\n
