The Surgical New Product Development (NPD) group develops new and innovative surgical instrumentation centered around improving women's health. **Throughout the 10-12 weeks you'll have the opportunity to participate in the following:** + The intern can expect to get broad exposure to the product development lifecycle for medical devices, and dive deeper into specific phases of this lifecycle. + This may include developing and improving test methodology and fixturing for the testing of medical devices, documentation and product design. **We're looking for bright, inquisitive problem solvers who strive to make a difference. Key qualifications include the following:** + Able to work full-time over the summer months (May-August) + Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree program and have **at least one semester remaining** to complete after the internship + Majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering + **Rising Junior, Rising Senior** + Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.2/4.0 + Strong written, verbal communication and organizational skills + Experience or exposure to working with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Experience with SolidWorks and Product Design + **Ability to work onsite at our Louisville, CO campus. Intern housing, relocation, and housing stipends are not provided** The hourly pay range for this role is $26 - $35 per hour.
