**THE TEAM**
This position will be working in our Toronto office within the Private Infrastructure team of CBRE Investment Management. The Private Infrastructure team creates long-term value for its fund and separate account clients by sourcing, acquiring and managing high-quality investments across industry verticals including Energy Transition, Digital and Transportation. Today the dedicated team of over 70 professionals in Toronto and London invest approximately US$9.8 billion on behalf of institutional investors globally.
**THE ROLE**
We are looking to fill a summer internship position to work on our investments team on a variety of private markets research and private infrastructure investment activities. Working closely with all levels of the investment team, you will play an important role supporting a versatile team in making global investment decisions. You will get involved in conducting industry research, assisting with the preparation of investment recommendations, conducting analysis and due diligence of fund investments and direct and co-investments, conducting market and industry research, create financial models and be involved in reporting activities.
You will also have an opportunity to participate in various facets of portfolio management as well as conducting research for ad hoc projects.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Candidates in their second, third, or fourth year of studies in Commerce, Finance or Business Administration, or in a related Master’s program, with a strong academic record.
+ Exceptional written and oral communication skills, intellectual agility and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
+ Strong skill-set in financial modeling, valuation and analytics
+ Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
+ Further, you are an ambitious self-starter, a solid team player with a positive attitude and possess high professional and ethical standards.
+ You endeavor to perform work beyond what is required at your level and are willing to “roll up your sleeves” in an entrepreneurial environment to get work done as necessary.
+ You have a demonstrated ability to be resourceful and persistent in gathering and assessing information and to quickly assimilate knowledge.
