The Real-World Value Evidence (RWVE) team sits within Medical Affairs and is responsible for delivering real-world evidence to a variety of U.S. stakeholders in healthcare, including patients, providers, and payers. One area of focus is the generation and communication of clinical and economic evidence to payers, which supports informed decision-making on the value and use of treatments in JJ's North America Pharmaceuticals portfolio.

You will have the opportunity to build experience in the following areas:Recognize the role of real-world evidence generation (e.g. health economic and outcomes research) in modern healthcareParticipate in observational research projectsGain proficiency in review and analysis of scientific literatureDevelop medical writing skillsPrepare and conduct presentations to internal partnersCommunicate economic and clinical research findings to various cross-functional teams

Candidate should be pursuing a graduate degree in economics, life sciences, epidemiology, public health, health policy, biomedical sciences, health services research, pharmacy, or related area of studyCandidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited program and have at least 2 years of graduate study in PharmD, PhD, MPH or other master’s programsExperience and Skills:

Required:

Candidate should have strong communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated interest in health economics/pharmacoeconomics, outcomes research, real-world evidence, and pharmaceutical industryStrong working knowledge of study design and quantitative methods Candidate must be available for at least 10 weeks over the summer of 2025 and have the ability to work full-time during that periodCandidate must demonstrate efficiency using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookCandidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States, as Permanent Resident or United States Citizen, and not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H1-B status) now or in the futurePreferred:A minimum 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred
