**Job Description Summary**
We are seeking student candidates with strong communication skills, the ability to think strategically, and demonstrate leadership potential. Interns will support critical finance-team initiatives while also sharing the responsibilities to support the day-to-day tax operations within the Finance organization, including but not limited to: record keeping, account analysis and reconciliation, error handling, technical tax research, benchmarking analyses, and assistance with financial statement preparation, among other areas. Interns will also have opportunities to interact and collaborate with team members from other functional areas of the business.
**Job Description**
Candidates should be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in accounting with at least one year of college level work completed
Your internship experience with the Tax function may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:
+ Develop the process to document and claim the US Federal and State R&D tax credits
+ Assist in preparation of jurisdictional transfer pricing supporting documentation
+ Assist in completion of US Federal tax compliance activities
+ Return preparation with outsource partner
+ Estimated payments
+ Assist in completion of US State tax compliance activities
+ Return preparation with outsource partner
+ State estimated payments
+ Assist in Q2 tax reporting and participate in Financial close optimization initiatives.
+ Complete tax research projects
+ **Knowledge**
+ Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (particularly Excel)
+ Background in information systems and evolving digital tools (e.g., artificial intelligence) is a strong plus.
