Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
Welcome to Micron’s Scribe Design Group! We are a group of engineers who design specific Test Structures that provide electrical and physical information to process development and manufacturing teams. You will be involved from the design to final testing of semiconductor devices that will be used to monitor and improve the process window of all Micron products. You will be working with various tools and techniques to provide decision making information to our customers. You will have the opportunity to participate and to collaborate in a group project, together with other interns and engineers, to find solutions spanning from device design conception to final data analysis.
As an intern, your responsibility includes, but is not limited to:
Develop and document new methods to optimize test structure designs to be recorded as Design-Of-Record. Define Best Known Method based on your learning, and to detail the thought process and the supporting data. Build a strategy to automate the collection of both physical and electrical verifications. Improve visibility of electrical metrics and compare results to defined targets. Build automated scripts and/or program to organize information into visual results that give insight to the status of Test Structures based on physical and electrical results. Work on a hands-on and collaborative project to understand and optimize OPC, DFM, CMP impact on Test Structures and include findings in Design-Of-Record document. Identify potential opportunities of improvement, including areas which can be challenging to achieve during the internship period. Contribute in a multidisciplinary project of Micron’s Mask Technology group
Qualifications:
Develop and document innovative methods to enhance test structure designs, ensuring they are recorded as the Design-Of-Record. Establish the Best Known Method derived from your findings, detailing the rationale and supporting data. Formulate a strategy to automate the gathering of both physical and electrical verifications. Enhance the visibility of electrical metrics and benchmark results against established targets. Create automated scripts or programs to compile information into visual representations that elucidate the status of Test Structures, based on physical and electrical outcomes. Engage in a hands-on, collaborative project to comprehend and refine OPC, DFM, CMP influences on Test Structures, incorporating discoveries into the Design-Of-Record documentation. Spot potential areas for enhancement, including those that may present challenges during the internship. Participate in a cross-disciplinary project within Micron’s Mask Technology division.
