The Valuation Services team prepares valuation analyses for financial reporting, litigation, restructuring, tax and management planning purposes. Our Valuation Services professionals have unparalleled experience in determining the value of assets, companies or debt in relation to transactions, restructuring- and litigation procedures and tax- and financial reporting purposes. Furthermore, our team is experienced in providing and defending valuations reports for clients, auditors and courts across a number of industries.
Navigating Responsibilities:
Valuation Services Interns work on a variety of assignments, including valuations performed for acquisitions, reviewing equity and debt securities with hedge funds and private equity funds, purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuations, business unit and asset impairment valuations, intangible asset valuations, restructuring valuations and stock option valuations for multiple industriesAssisting with performing valuation analyses on a wide range of public and private entities within various industries using accepted and relevant approaches and theoryWorking with financial models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, market transaction and option pricing analysesIndependently gathering data pertinent to the engagement through direct client interaction and client site visitsAssisting in preparing and presenting the results of our analyses in a clear and concise mannerAssisting with the development of proposals, presentations and publications communicated to current and prospective clientsPerforming in-depth client, industry, market and competitor researches
The Ideal Candidate:
Current Degree Pursuit: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance), Management (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance) or MBA from an accredited university.Proficiency with and ability to maximize applications such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel including knowledge of advanced Excel futuresAnalytical Thinker: Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to master new tasks and industries quicklyDemonstrated leadership experience and strong personal integrityTask Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environmentCommitment to obtaining outstanding results Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communitiesExperience working with diverse teams
