EquipmentShare is searching for a student intern to join the Economic Development team at our Home Office in Columbia, MO or in a Remote Capacity for the summer of 2025
Responsibilities:We offer a flexible internship that will allow you to learn our business from the ground up while working on a series of team and independent projects.
Assist with managing economic development projects, including tracking project timelines and deliverables Support the creation and organization of internal resources for site selection and tax incentive capture Research state and local economic incentive programs for potential EquipmentShare expansion locations Help maintain project tracking tools and databases for economic development opportunities Generate presentations and reports for internal stakeholders on economic development activities Assist with documentation of economic impact analyses for potential expansion sites About YouOur mission to change an industry is not easily achieved. What You're Working With: Must be actively working toward a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Economics, Urban Planning, Business, Public Administration, or related field Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher Strong organizational and project management skills Proficiency with data analysis and research methodologies Experience with Google Suite, particularly Sheets and Slides Familiarity with project management tools and databases is a plus Interest in economic development, site selection, and business expansion strategies Strong acumen for business communication Comfort working in a business-professional environment Why We’re a Better Place to WorkEquipmentShare interns have the opportunity to enjoy many perks while working at our Home Office, including:
