Intern: Financial Planning & Analysis (Spring 2025)

The Mack Financial Planning & Analysis internship position will collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners on activities such as financial planning and analysis, monthly reporting, data analysis, data modeling, competitive benchmarking of existing practices, tools and methodologies, researching industry best practices, and benchmarking with competitors using various analytical tools.

Main tasks include, but are not limited to, assisting the Mack Business Control team with: 

Preparation of various monthly reports, including the development and preparation of financial reports, scorecards, schedules, and charts.  Preparation of various monthly analysis explaining the deviation of actual results versus latest forecast  Work on selected financial projects (e.g., assist with the implementation of new Power BI tools)  Who are you? You must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or similar.  You must be pursuing your degree at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship  You must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75  You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint)  You should be proficient in the use of web-based tools, various analytical tools and programs. Power BI proficiency a plus.  Advanced business communication and writing skills preferred. Teamwork and Collaboration a must.  You have strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills  You have effective professional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills  You're a Process Oriented Self-Starter What’s in it for you?

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
