Job Description of a Financial Systems Analyst Intern

You will work closely with our Financial Systems team and other data-adjacent teams to develop, optimize, and automate workflows that drive business insights and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in cleaning and preparing data, creating automated processes, and assisting with analytics that support strategic initiative advancement. Primary Responsibilities of an Intern - Financial Systems

Optimize business-critical processes using analytic software solutions (Alteryx, SQL, etc) Develop, maintain, and refine Alteryx workflows to automate data analysis processes Ensure data solutions are efficient, well-documented, and optimized for performance Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining Alteryx Server environments Support user access management and permissions within Alteryx Support data visualization and reporting using Alteryx, Excel, or BI tools (e.g., Looker) Work with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and data challenges Provide recommendations for process automation and efficiency improvements Document workflow logic, assumptions, and methodologies for team reference

About You

Must be qualified to work in the United States - we are not sponsoring any candidates now. Studying to achieve a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field Alteryx Core Certified (Mandatory) Expert-level Excel skills SQL experience, combined with visualization experiences in Looker, Tableau, a plus Proficient understanding of financial principles and business processes Proactive, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented, using these traits to overcome complex knowledge repositories of ES business processes. You roll with the punches and can adapt quickly, manage competing projects, and challenge the status quo.
