What You Will Do

Interns at Pratt & Whitney work on challenging, meaningful, and impactful projects across our business. We’re looking for students with an engineer’s curiosity, an explorer’s heart, and a perfectionist’s grit to help us build the future of aerospace.

Whether supporting Mature Commercial Engines, industry-leading Geared Turbofan engines, Military Engine programs, Operations, or Business Support functions, our program seeks to help you: develop an understanding of the aerospace industry; learn about our company and its operations; and appreciate how each discipline and department’s contribution to the success of our products and customer partnerships.

While you benefit from on-the-job training and practical experience, you are expected to contribute fresh ideas and participate as a productive member of the department.

We are currently seeking students majoring in Finance or Accounting to support disciplines across Pratt & Whitney. Finance and Business interns will work closely with their team to deliver real results in the areas of accounting, financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our P&W Finance Center of Excellence team as a Summer 2025 Intern.

The candidate will work closely with the P&W Finance COE team to deliver real results in the areas of accounting, finance, financial planning and analysis, DT finance or financial operations.Interns will work on various financial tasks as well as ad hoc projects assigned by the department.The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, financially savvy, and passionate about their work. This may lead to work partnering with current associates of the Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP).

Qualifications You Must Have

Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related majors.You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship.You are graduating between Fall 2025 or later.You have a GPA of 3.2 or higher

Proactive and results-driven individual who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environmentExcellent analytical and communication skills (verbal and written)Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability in responding to new business challengesStrong background in Microsoft Office: Excel, PPT, OutlookClassroom/Other experience in computer information systems is a plus (i.e. SAP/ERP/S4 knowledge/framework)

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility. 

This role may require limited ad-hoc on-site premise work depending on team or Intern/Co-op program requirements, but will primarily be remote based.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
