Intern: Vehicle Services Analyst (Spring 2025)

What you will do

If you want to be a part of an exciting connected vehicle services team where you can drive and execute on goals for the Volvo Trucks and Mack Truck brands, come join us!  Additionally, you will work with an experienced service development team analyzing and contributing to the future of connected vehicle services for the commercial truck market.

For this position it is preferable for candidates to be on site for 2-3 days and working up to 30 hours a week during the Spring 2025 semester. The specific working schedule will be agreed upon with the hiring manager. Some travel is available.

Volvo Trucks and Mack Truck and creating differentiating services to help improve our customers experience with our products and differentiate ourselves from our competition.  As an intern, you will be contributing to the success of these current and new services by working alongside our team to ensure these services are meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations.

The Intern - Vehicle Service Analyst will:
 

Become fully versed with current services offer Work with evaluation of current service offerings and how these services are brought to market Support the customer journey mapping  Be part of the User Acceptance process for new services before they are brought to market Gather and quantify user feedback to present to management Support training of services to different user groups Support the team cross functionally as needed
  Who are you?

Educational Reqiurements: 

Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in marketing, communications, engineering or a similar quantitative field and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship. You must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.

 

To be the perfect match for this role, your critical competencies will include:
 

Strong communication skills with ability to work with end users Basic knowledge of the commercial truck market Fast learner with comfort navigating mobile apps and digital portals Competent in Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint…) Creative thinking and willingness to find novel solutions with an emphasis on delivering high-quality work Must have good energy, a positive attitude, and thrive in creative thinking Real problem solver and confident to make decisions Familiarity with customer journey mapping Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams. A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques Self-starter with the ability to prioritize critical tasks, as well as deliver on assignments within deadlines

This position is located in Greensboro, North Carolina, and may include a hybrid working arrangement, pending work demands or activities. What’s in it for you?

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
