Our lab puts theory to practice and is focused on mitochondrial biology. Learning will be measured constantly via experimental design and interpretation. By the conclusion of the internship, the student will have learned how to perform experiments and interpret data related to mitochondrial biology. They will test how adaptations to starvation are dependent on mitochondrial functions.
