Mission of the Role: The Corporate Strategy intern will support Visteon’s strategy lead with developing and executing strategic initiatives, business critical corporate projects, and mergers and acquisitions. The role will provide experience in market and financial analysis, financial modeling for M&A transactions, and project management.

Key Objectives of this Role: The Corporate Strategy intern will play a role in supporting activities related to Visteon’s corporate strategy and capital allocation plans along with supporting business unit leaders in defining strategy within their respective functions and regions. This includes in-depth market, product, and competitive analyses of automotive electronics applications and adjacent end-markets to identify growth opportunities and threats. Additionally, the intern will help support M&A activities including ad-hoc financial modeling of potential M&A opportunities, build an industry M&A tracker for deal activity monitoring, and manage a target pipeline for potential acquisition/investment targets.

 

Key Performance Indicators: Providing timely and quality deliverables without significant oversight, working collaboratively with the Corporate Strategy Director and finance rotation associates daily to drive progress in the strategy and M&A functions, and effective time management to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Deliverables: Supplemental data for market analyses of certain regions and product segments, including in mobility and non-mobility verticals, as well as summaries of external research reports conducted on key technologies complementary to Visteon’s core product portfolio. This role will also provide deliverables to support Board of Director meetings, including the preparation of slides related to M&A or other forms of capital allocation.

 

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Top-tier academic background and must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an anticipated graduation date of no later than May 2026 Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel including the ability to create PPT templates and financial models
