Key Responsibilities:

As an intern on our AO Learning Team, you could be responsible to:

Assist with the deployment of various training and development programsSupport creation of content and materials to promote the sharing and early adoption of training programs and initiativesFacilitate listening sessions and administer surveys to gather feedback and insights from employeesResearch and benchmark to implement best practices across United’s learning programsAssist with the analysis of program effectiveness, survey data, and ROI metricsCoordinate logistics for program participants and external consultants/facultyAid in the development activities related to diversity and inclusion

QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Pursuing an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or certification in I/O Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Learning/ Leadership Design or similar fieldAbility to synthesize and analyze statisticsProficient Microsoft Office skills with emphasis in PowerPoint, Excel, and WordMotivated, organized and detail-orientedStrong written and verbal communication skillsSelf- start and works well in teams and autonomously

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

Pursuing a Master’s degree in I/O Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, or similar fieldAbility to apply instructional design and adult learning principlesPrevious experience leading a team and with providing coaching and developmentAdditional Information:Position will be hybrid based in Chicago, ILIntern duration is 12 weeks over Summer 2025Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship now and in the futureSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationsReliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
