As an Intern your primary responsibility and manager will depend on which of the following roles you are selected for.
For Summer 2025, we have potential to fill the following openings within our team at Fisk Electric:
Project Engineer – Intern
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will receive guidance from a Sr. Project Manager and learn to provide technical engineering information to Project Managers to ensure project compliance with plans, codes, specifications and design instructions.
Field Office Coordinator – Intern
As a Field Office Coordinator Intern, you will receive guidance from an Operations Manager and learn to provide assistance creating contract documents, coordinating field personnel to jobsites, work closely with jobsite contacts/corporate payroll to verify accuracy of field time, and prepare special reports & statistical analysis per request to assist operations team.
Estimator – Intern
As an Estimator Intern, you will receive guidance from a Sr. Estimator and learn the concepts and process of conceptual estimates & budgets up to $1M, develop detailed cost estimates and proactively identify deficiencies and/or questions, and actively assist the project team toward the answers.
BIM Technician – Intern
Support the BIM team by assisting in the development, modification, and maintenance of Revit families and BIM models. Participate in BIM project coordination, assist with documentation, and contribute to the implementation of corporate BIM standards. Aid in quality control checks, model reviews, and research related to BIM software and processes. This role provides hands-on experience in BIM technologies and processes, preparing the intern for a career in digital design and construction coordination.
REQUIREMENTS
Highschool Diploma or GED required, applicants must be in at least Sophomore/Junior year of a Bachelor’s degree program.
