Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities

As a Technical OperationsFacilities and Ground Support Equipment Maintenance (FX/GX)intern, you’ll work side-by-side with our Technical Operations professionals, taking on problems and learning about our industry. Internships are paid and course credit hours may be considered depending on university’s guidelines. Technical OperationsFX/GX interns will be working on different projects throughout our system. Potential projects include but are not limited to:Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Fleet Management, Reliability, Facilities and GSE Maintenance Strategy, Telemetry, Analytics, Predictive Maintenanceand more. And depending on the team, you could be located in:Denver, CO, San Franciso, CA, Chicago, IL, Houston, TX, Newark, New Jersey, or Washington, D.C.Regardless of your assignment, you will work on projects that will provide you with applicable, real-world experience in one of our many engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities could include the following:

Clean, obtain and organize operational data and enhance existing dashboards (ex. Spotfire, Tableau)Review, categorize and index OEM manuals, blueprints and training materialsPrepare cost analysis on projectsAnalyze equipment utilization metrics and root-cause to improve processesCommunicate analysis results to all levels of the organization

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering,CivilEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another related fieldMust have a minimum of 12 semester hours in core degree course workIndividual should be a rising junior (at minimum) when internship beginsMust be available for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2025Work related travel may be required, individuals must be able to travel without any restrictionsApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or at any point in the futurePreferred:Experience with supply chain analysisExperience in the use and management of operational equipment
