Responsibilities

Under the direction the SVP of Underwriting, the BCRS Intern will gain an in- depth knowledge of the insurance industry including underwriting, claims, operations and finance. The BCRS intern will receive on the job training and be given the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments.

• Spend time in each BCRS department to gain an understand of the role of each in the BCRS insurance workflow • Participate in a variety of ‘shadow days’, trainings and development activities.• Complete all assignments when due with the appropriate deliverable• Collaborate on projects as assigned and the opportunity to develop an understanding of the insurance industry• Other duties that will support BCRS business strategies
