**Your Opportunity**
Stantec is looking for a Process Engineer Intern to join our Facilities & Process Engineering team for the summer of 2025 based out of the Minneapolis, MN area. In this role, you will work closely with Process Engineers and Process Designers on primarily industrial and/or food-based projects.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Development of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs Specification of process equipment and instrumentation for quotation and coordination with process designers for incorporation of equipment into project.
+ Assist with 3D facility design and equipment layouts including generation of sketches and coordination with process designers on General Arrangement drawings.
+ Performing fieldwork necessary to gather data, check tie-ins and provide construction support.
+ Coordinating with other disciplines and construction trades.
**Qualifications**
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software platform and one or more of the following: AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu and/or Navisworks.
+ Able to visualize and layout process plants and piping in 3D.
+ Able to develop and work from Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
+ Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills with both clients and project team members, with a strong customer service attitude.
+ Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
+ Strong organizational skills for maintaining project files and information received from clients and vendors.
+ Basic understanding of task hour estimating and being accountable for personal hour budgets.
+ Must be able to meet deadlines and put in the time needed to get the job done.
**Education and Experience**
+ Currently enrolled in a four-year (minimum) degree in an appropriately related discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
+ 0-2 years of relevant engineering intern experience

**Salary Range(s):**
* $26.08 - $31.29 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in MN, NYC/NY
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
