MillerKnoll Summer Internship Program is a paid opportunity that allows you to gain real-world experience and cultivate your professional skills. POSITION PROFILE

This position is an internship in the HOLLY HUNT showroom.  Ideally this internship will last for 6-9 months.  Candidates will gain an understanding of the “to the trade” design industry.

Primary Responsibilities

Pulling memos for clients in the showroom and for clients who call to request mail outsManaging inventory for all lines | Re-ordering memos and brochures for all linesReceive inventoryAssist with showroom related eventsAssist outside sales reps on road program and inside sales reps with in-showroom appointmentsAssist with merchandising textile, wallcovering and leather displays in the showroomDaily showroom duties:  tidying textile floor area, filing memos, finish samples and tear sheets

Minimum Qualifications

Ideal candidates will be working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or have equivalent work experience.Ideal candidates will have some experience working in a retail or showroom environment.Ability to multitaskSome light lifting (20lbs – 30lbs max)Computer skills – basic knowledge preferred.

A starting compensation range for this role is $1.00 - $500,000.50. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
