**Job Overview:** The Supply Chain intern is responsible for supporting any discipline of Supply Chain namely Procurement, Subcontracting, Material Management or Logistics. The intern can support either Global Operations or Business Line Supply Chain in strategic sourcing of goods and services, operational improvement, procurement or subcontract activities under supervision of project team, supplier management for to support indirect procurement activities or any other activity related to the Supply Chain lifecycle. This position will work closely with assigned department and provide assistant to teams in order to gain an overall understanding of Supply Chain in a global Oil & Gas (Energies) business. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Providing project support to any of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) disciplines. + Ensure all documents are duly filed in the appropriate systems. + Support to project in ensuring contractual requirements are met by Supplier/Vendor and required documents such as reports, insurance certificates, etc. as applicable are received in a timely manner. + Assistance in project Close-Out of purchase orders and Subcontracts. + Market analysis, including research of potential Vendors and Suppliers. + Data extrapolation and analysis. + Benchmarking of project Supply Chain projects. + Support to Global Operations team in practices and procedures enhancements. + Support to Contract revision, drafting and negotiation. + Become familiar with McDermott SCM Best Practices Maintain contracts and renew existing agreements & licenses that are expired or about to expire. + Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and conduct periodic self-audits; **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + PreGraduate in Engineering & Technology + PreGraduate in Business Management or Law + PreGraduate in Construction Management or Related Field **Preferred Qualifications and Education:** + Written/spoken English. + Supervision qualities. + Communicative skills (meetings, reporting) \#LI-CA1 \#LI-DNI Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
