Our Purpose: We pioneer the innovations that move and connect people to what matters Responsibilities We are looking for a student who is ready to learn and grow in an exciting, fast-paced startup business within GM Financial. This student will gain experience in developing business insights by leveraging BI tools, statistical analysis, and will gain exposure to senior leadership by presenting the results of their work to business leaders. This position will feature working closely with the Head of Data Analytics and Head of Marketing and will also provide opportunities to interact with other teams in the interest of achieving overall business objectives. Our Program Offers: 12 weeks of work experience (5/21/2025-8/8/2025) Competitive salary Executive and peer networking opportunities Independent and team project experiences Philanthropic activities Career development Opportunity to apply for full-time career positions Qualifications Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Decision Science, or related with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship. Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA. Junior or Senior classification preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders. Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams) Familiarity with marketing campaign performance metrics such as A/B testing methods, measuring marketing channel performance, customer behavior and segmentation is preferred. Proficiency with programming languages/software required (e.g. SAS, SQL) Proficiency and/or familiarity with Excel & other BI tools required Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required. Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Must be able to work independently or in a team setting. Previous internships are considered a plus. Working Conditions: Must be able to commit to work 40 hours for 12 consecutive weeks during the summer (5/21/2025-8/8/2025) Must participate in all GMF-sponsored events for interns.
