Intern Breeding R&D Field Testing - Künzing, DE (all genders) 

 

THE OPPORTUNITY


As part of the Bayer EMEA Breeding Growing Early Talent Program, this 6-month internship at the Bayer Breeding Station in Künzing (Bavaria, Germany) offers insight and participation, as a member of the Field-Testing team, in all major processes of Winter Oil Seed Rape and Corn lifecycle from sowing to harvest. This internship is designed for a duration of 6 months, ideally starting in April 2025. YOUR TASKS AND OBJECTIVES

 

You will assist in using innovative and state of the art technology for scoring, sowing and harvestYou will experience modern farming and agricultural sciences by practical applicationYou will actively participate in the changing tasks and challenges over the seasonYou will support in the planning and execution of data analysis, phenotyping scoring and trial maintenance,for yield and pathology trials throughout our network in GermanyYou will collaborate as a member of an international project team in a global organization working withindustry leaders and experts


WHO YOU ARE

 

You are a currently enrolled M.Sc. student (all genders), in agricultural sciences or related fieldYou have an interest in modern farming and agriculture, experimental design, pathology and the marketlandscape in GermanYou can work independently as well as in a team and enjoy having various tasks ranging from manual tasksin the field to computer workYour computer skills encompass MS Office and you readily adapt to new database applicationsYou have the willingness to obtain the UAV pilot licenseYou are proficient in EnglishYou hold a B Driving license
