Our Commercial Lending Services Intern will learn to be responsible for providing exemplary and prompt customer service to dealerships and internal customers. This role will shadow responsibilities for the daily administration of the receivable and dealer-facing systems. This team member has contact with dealership staff, internal company departments, auctions, and floorplan insurance providers. Qualifications Job Description Interface with customers and internal/external stakeholders to obtain data to complete analysis and ensure customer expectations are managed Analyze financial statements of automotive dealerships and related customers including assessment of dealership risk Learn to effectively communicate with dealers, outside vendors, management, and peers ensuring serviced dealerships and internal customers are provided with exemplary and prompt customer service Perform accurate set-up/maintenance for floorplan credit lines Process all exceptions ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals obtained Understand how to effectively communicate any dealer issues to management Strong written and verbal communication skills required This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines Must be able to work independently or in a team setting Qualifications Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related major with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship. Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA. Junior or Senior classification preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders. Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required. Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Must be able to work independently or in a team setting. Previous internships are considered a plus.
