Major Activities
Gain an understanding of corporate accounting by assisting with preparing journal entries, supporting work papers and reconciliations related to lease accounting, consolidations, payroll and benefits and capital transactions Assist with income or sales tax audits including responding to notices and gathering data/preparing support schedules, researching tax issues, drafting correspondence with taxing authorities, and working with outside advisors Assist with researching accounting technical issues and investigate accounting entries.Gain experience with accounting technology solutions like Oracle, CoStar and AI tools. Assist with special projects as they arise Support the financial reporting team by providing supporting schedules and explaining business activity.Other duties as assignedMinimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in AccountingMust have completed junior year and going into 4th year of schoolOverall GPA of 3.0 or higherAccounting GPA of 3.0 or higherMinimum Special Certifications or Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applicationsMinimum Type of Experience the Job Requires
