Powell is dedicated to the future growth and talent of our company.  We offer internship opportunities to college students through a 10-week internship program. 

Our interns receive hands on experience, training and the opportunity to work on a project in their specific area of study. Posted position does not allow for sponsorship 

or relocation assistance.

The Research and Development Engineering internship will be focused on optimizing dielectrics of a conductor in a sealed container. Ideal applicants will be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Electronics.

Project Details:

Intern would develop a technique for measuring the impedance of settled dust (electronics)  Intern would be responsible for concept Intern would be responsible for simulation  Intern would be responsible for circuit design Intern would be responsible for proof of concept/prototype Intern would be responsible for module/bench testing reporting

Job Requirements:

A successful intern at Powell will have the following characteristics:

Currently pursuing a 4-year degree from an accredited institution Rising Junior or Senior level students continuing their studies in the fall semester Good academic standing; minimum 3.0 GPA Team-player, self-starter, effective communicator, & dependable Possess multi-tasking abilities and strong inter-personal skills. FEA experience a bonus
