Intern - Cybersecurity Automation

Job Summary:

As an intern for the Cybersecurity, you will be tasked with the guidance of Cybersecurity team in identifying manual and repetitive cybersecurity tasks within the organization and implementing automation solutions to streamline these processes. Working closely with the cybersecurity team, you will play a crucial role in improving the organization's cybersecurity posture by leveraging your skills in automation and enthusiasm for improving efficiency.

 

In this role, your responsibilities will be:

Collaborating with the cybersecurity team to identify manual cybersecurity tasks or processes suitable for automation. Analyzing existing cybersecurity tools to pinpoint areas for improvement through automation. Integrating automation tools into current cybersecurity workflows and providing training to team members. Detailing newly automated processes, including standard procedures and troubleshooting instructions, to facilitate knowledge retention within the organization.

For this Role You Will Need:

A keen curiosity about cybersecurity and automation technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for automation. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell etc). Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate optimally with team members and document processes.

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

Knowledgeable or coursework in cybersecurity, automation, or related fields. Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and frameworks. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
