Job Title: Systems Engineer Intern D Job Code: 15072 Job Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Description: + Support the company in identifying aircraft installation opportunities for company-built avionics + Analyze aircraft installations for determining the effort required to install and certify company-built avionics + Supports development of avionics installations for avionics products + Develop test plans, procedures & cases for avionics installations in aircraft + Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans for avionics installations + Analyze systems installation requirements for products and interfacing systems on aircraft + Support engineering design and substantiation activities required to obtain FAA approval for avionics installations on aircraft Qualifications: + In pursuit of Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field Preferred Skills: + General familiarization with aviation/aircraft operating environment or an interest therein + Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering L3Harris Technologies is proud to be an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
