As a Recruiting Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of talent acquisition. We’re seeking an intern who is resourceful, creative, and dedicated to always delivering high quality work. You’re up for a challenge and are never satisfied with the status quo. You sweat the details and ensure the job is done the right way, not the easy way. You’re comfortable being team captain or second string. You’re excited to be in the trenches bringing new initiatives to life, and you like to have some fun along the way!
WHAT YOU’LL DO (Responsibilities)
Work closely with our HR and recruitment teams to support various aspects of the recruitment process - from sourcing and reviewing applicants to coordinating interview events and creating offers. Assist with various administrative tasks related to internship program + campus recruitment Develop + execute events for summer interns across AEO offices in Pittsburgh and New York Coordinate all campus logistics (in person + virtually) including booking career fairs, scheduling interviews, confirming information session details and any other logistics as needed Support IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access) early talent strategies Partner with business functions to develop marketing materials for campus opportunities (ex: content for social media, flyers, recruiting decks) Build relationships with campus personnel and student organizations to market AEO as an employer of choice Additional tasks + ownership as assignedWHAT YOU’LL NEED (Qualifications)
1+ year of office administration experience; Fashion/Retail HR or Recruiting experience is a plus The ability thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment A passion for making connections and building relationships Strong public speaking and presentation skills You are a champion for Inclusion + Diversity Understanding of university ecosystem with experience working with Student Organizations, career services offices and professors in a leadership capacity Detail obsessed with strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to use discretion with confidential information Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Workspace, etc)INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
Students are eligible after they have completed their junior year at a 4 year college or university - recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply! The internship will run from May until August with potential to extend based on candidate performance + availability Each intern will be considered seasonal/temporary in nature Remote work flexibility provided with in office expectations 2-3 times per week and potential for travel PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION: Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
