Intern - Electrical and Mechanical Testing

We’re looking for a driven, detail-focused and eager to learn Intern to join us in our Laboratory in Warsaw and help us deliver our mission of working for a safer world! During your internship, you will be supporting our Lab colleagues in handling mechanical and electrical tests in accordance to relevant safety standards. + Builds and/or adapts basic setup and test equipment for performance of tests. + Performs tests using general laboratory equipment. + Performs routine care of designated test equipment and work area. + Operates computer terminal to extract/input readily available information and to use available software. + As directed, follows defined test plans and datasheets. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results. + Reads and interprets results of tests. Prepares charts, graphs and reports to explain test results. + Examines test samples, reads measuring instruments and reviews test data with supervisor. Reads and interprets blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and operational instructions. + As instructed, examines customer samples and learns to operate basic tests for each case. + Receives instructions from and reports data to engineers and other laboratory technician staff. Records observed or calculated data on appropriate data sheets. + Develops working knowledge of the job, methods, instrumentation and systems. + Integrates continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. #LI-Onsite #LI-ZK1 + Technical High School or Bachelor's degree (preferably: Electrical Engineering or related). + Good command of spoken and written English language. + Ability to use Microsoft Office suite is a must. + Effective communication skills and ability to interact with people at different levels. + Desire to work in a team-oriented environment. + Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation. + Overall knowledge about batteries would be additional benefit.
