Are you a passionate and driven student pursuing a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering? Join our team at Sensient Colors LLC for a hands-on engineering internship experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This opportunity will provide you with exposure to capital projects, preventative maintenance systems, and the chance to work alongside experienced engineers in both maintenance and project management. Based at our St. Louis facility, you’ll gain valuable skills to accelerate your engineering career.
What you’ll do:
Assist with Preventative Maintenance and Calibration systems. Coordinate Preventative Maintenance scope and obtain vendor quotes. Conduct inventory management audits and support equipment upgrades. Help with equipment and asset identification and labeling. Organize and research documentation related to equipment and processes. Research equipment vendors and assess compatibility with existing systems. Provide hands-on support to Maintenance and Project Engineers with various tasks.What you’ll bring:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with junior-level standing or higher and a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills to establish relationships across all levels. Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, AutoCAD, and basic web tools. A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.What you’ll get:
