The Credit/Treasury Intern will assist the Credit and Treasury departments with a variety of tasks, including credit analysis, cash forecasting, and foreign exchange exposure analysis. The internship also has the opportunity to work on various projects important to the organization’s goals. This internship provides valuable exposure to credit and treasury functions, offering hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and operational support.
*This position is part-time during the school year and full-time in the summer. It is an onsite position at our headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
Major Responsibilities
Develop systematic methods to track credit reviews, including scheduling and reporting. Pull and review business to business credit reports.
Obtain and review customer financial statements and perform spreads of the data to analyze financial strength and provide recommendations to management.
Utilize SAP ERP system to analyze customer payment and order patterns. Assist with RFP and Implementation for credit, deductions and collections management system.
Assist with the collection and analysis of global foreign exchange (FX) exposures. Aid in the development of an improved weekly cash forecasting model
Support bank documentation requirements including Know Your Customer (KYC).
Various reporting activities, including Daily Cash Position Report Support daily bank operations including accounting support, transaction review, and cash planning.
Various other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Requirements
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field
Minimum of sophomore status
