Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree 2 or more years of relevant coursework Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)Preferred qualifications:
Education toward a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines High energy work style with a strong drive to succeed Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment; able to consult with team members and management as needed
About the Financial Planning & Analysis Intern Position
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Have the opportunity to work with this professional team in critical areas like forecasting, monthly operating reviews, and the annual long-term business plan/budget process. Participate in a 12-week program where you will assist in ongoing efforts focused on streamlining, improving, and automating recurring reporting and analysis, complete competitive analysis to determine market trends and XPO’s performance against the market, and gain exposure to presentations with senior leadership Engage and communicate effectively with other professionals throughout the organization Participate in team meetings and projects Act as a key contributor to projects that impact the business and solve real problems Utilize accounting systems such as Oracle - Hyperion Financial Management Assist with reporting and analytics Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with internal customers Provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries
